Client Testimonials

Shannon did my wedding makeup this last December along with my sisters and Mom. As someone who doesn’t wear a ton of makeup regularly I was struggling to find an artist that could create a soft, natural but glamorous look. Shannon was really willing to work with me during the trial, listen to my concerns and feedback. My make up looked absolutely amazing both IRL and in photos.

I’ve gone back since for her dermaplane service and love the results!

Shannon just did my wedding this past weekend, and she did a beautiful job! She is extremely talented and pleasant to work with. I am a picky lady when it comes to makeup, and she really listened to me and helped me feel beautiful. She also did a great job with my bridal party- especially those who don't wear a lot of makeup normally.

Thank you Shannon!!

Shannon did my bridal makeup and that of my bridesmaids and both Moms… and wow! We all felt gorgeous when she was done! Shannon is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. She was great at listening to all of our needs and working with each of us to achieve our desire look. I would be happy to book with Shannon again!

Airbrush Tanning FAQ’s

Tanned Female Legs on a Bed

How does airbrush tanning work?

The principle tanning agent used in all tanning products is Dihydroxyacetone (DHA). This ingredient, which is derived from natural sugar cane, reacts with the amino acids in the skin to create the darkening or tanned appearance on the surface of the skin. The development of color takes anywhere from 1-12 hours and the intensity of color depends on DHA concentration in the product as well as each person’s skin characteristics. The color will gradually fade through natural skin exfoliation just like a natural tan from the sun.

What do I wear to the tanning session?

You are welcome to wear as little or as much as you are comfortable with during your session. Please keep tan lines in mind. Once sprayed, tan lines cannot be filled in or blended.

How should I prep my skin prior to my tanning appointment?

Get your mani/pedi, facial, wax, and massage services taken care of at least 24 hours before your spray tan, so your tan stays fully intact and so any oils or lotions from the service have been washed off completely!

It is recommended to schedule your tanning appointment 1-2 days before your event if you are tanning for an occasion. This will give you time to wash off the bronzer and for the tan to fully develop.

Shower and exfoliate the night before your tan to remove excess dead skin cells so the product adheres evenly and fades well. This is especially important if you tan often. It is important to remove as much of the old tan as possible before applying the new tan to prevent any uneven fading or patchiness.

Spend a little extra time exfoliating areas with thick skin, such as knees, elbows, feet and ankles. Make sure to remove any product residue from your skin, especially conditioner and any shaving products.

Remove makeup before you tan.

Avoid wearing perfume or deodorant to your session as these can lead to uneven development. Don’t use any heavy lotions or oils on your skin on the day of your session as they can act as a barrier to the tanning solution. If you are super dry, a light, water-based, unscented lotion is fine.

Bridal Makeup

FAQ’s

Beautiful woman with make-up

What are the minimum and maximum for a wedding day?

am able to do as many as you need! I personally can do 6 applications myself. If more applications are needed, I can provided another seasoned artist to accommodate. The minimum for a wedding day is a Bridal Application and 4 other makeup applications (ie: bridesmaids, moms, aunts, grandmothers, friends, relatives ect.) The minimum service fees are still required if the minimum services/persons are not reached. The minimum is applied Friday through Sunday during the wedding season, which is May through Thanksgiving and New Years Eve.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, Check, Venmo, or PayPal is preferred, however I am able to take credit card payments for your convenience!

Is there a contract and deposit to hold my date?

Both a deposit and contract are required to hold the date of your wedding. A 30% deposit (of the total wedding day) will be taken when your wedding is booked. That rest of the wedding party, attendees and travel fee will be included in the balance. The balance is due no later than 2 weeks before the wedding date listed on the contract. Please note your date is not held until the contract is signed and the deposit received. Contracts are valid for 24 hours once it is sent. After which, the date will be released to the next inquiry for that date. The getting ready location and final head count are needed to create the contract and get it ready for signing.

When should I book my ‘Bridal Preview’?

This is totally up to you! I do have more flexibility with dates on my off season, Dec-April but can certainly find a date that works for you!
